When you reached back to your home, the first thing you must do is entering your 4 digit code to deactivate the system. And don’t forget to activate your system again in Stay mode. This will activate the exterior doors and also allow you to move around the home freely without triggering the alarm.

Test your system regularly to make sure it is communicating properly with the 24-hour ADT Customer Monitoring Center.
